While I might feel that the Judeo-Christian depiction of "The End Times" to be a bit over-the-top, far-fetched, and ridiculous, this piece is very well done, although the old Lucy there looks a little too pathetic, as if he didn't even give much of a fight.
I still cannot believe you had the NERVE to attack Jesus like that! He gave up his life for you at Calvery because he loved you. When you stand before Christ at the Day of Judgment, you BETTER give a GOOD EXPLANATION as to why you said this and though such things about Him.
The Devil wouldn't even stand a chance. A always laugh when I see modern media depicting The Morning Star and his army of Fallen Ones and demons with the power to storm Heaven and the like. Lucifer was nothing more than an angel, while Jesus is the Avatar of God, a demigod in the full sense of the word. Paradise Lost presents The Son of God as an unstoppable juggernaut of Light, that single handedly defeated the Fallen Ones and cast them down to Hell as punishment.
Great art. Manichean and a misunderstanding of apocalyptic (never meant to be visualized). The image is very "Jesus Barabbas (= bar abba, son of the Father)." It misunderstands power and instead of bringing the good news to worldly cultural values, it contorts Christ to fit into worldly cultural values by replacing Marduk/Baal/Zeus with Jesus.
